Cholesterol is a type of fat that is found in your body.  When your blood carries too much cholesterol it begins to stick to the walls of your arteries and this will narrow the artery.  It is important therefore to keep your cholesterol within normal limits.  Below please see a table that will assist you in interpreting the results:
