Karen Cradock is a specialist cardiac physiotherapist with over 20 years experience working in cardiac rehabilitation in Ireland, the UK, New Zealand and Australia. She was pioneer in heart failure rehabilitation in Ireland when she worked in St. Vincent’s Hospital and is now Therapy Lead on the National Heart Failure Clinical programme. In 2015 she was awarded specialist member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists in recognition for her work in cardiac rehabilitation.
She completed her term of office as president of the Irish Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation in February of this year and continues to promote cardiac rehabilitation nationally. She also lectures in UCD and RCSI.
